2008 Top Places to Work

The Business Examiner's annual 2008 Top Places to Work event was held April 23, 2008 to honor outstanding workplaces around the South Sound.

PROGRAM - The Top Places to Work program recognizes outstanding company cultures in the South Sound. Companies that apply completed an employee opinion survey evaluating their workplace culture in the following evaluation areas:
Three organizations took home titles of the Top Place to Work in their respective categories:
  • The Artisans Group of Olympia won in the small/medium company category.

Additional honors went to companies outstanding in each of the judging areas of Integrity, Gratification, Equity, Solidarity and Appreciation.
  • Tacoma's Premier Media Group, which won the Solidarity award

    • Company vision is communicated and consistent with employee responsibilities ~ Employees are provided with resources and tools needed to be successful and complete tasks ~ Communication is open and accessible
