Real estate brokers report theri business is not slowly down as the holiday season approaches. Buyer interest remains high and there are year-over-year gains in pending and closed home sales, and media prices.

No federal objection to ports pact

Federal Maritime Commission did not object to the next stage that might lead to the combination of marine terminal operations in Ports of Tacoma and Seattle. A review period ended Dec. 1, so the two entities have begun the formal review process.

Tacoma’s gain is loss to Port of Seattle
