Communities argue for JBLM

Officials and business leaders told an Army meeting this morning that their communities would suffer greatly, if Joint Base Lewis McChord activity and manpower is reduced by budget cuts.

New JBLM exit training program starts

A 13-week training program for 16 Army and Air Force service members preparing to exit the military for corporate America began this week at Joint Base Lewis McChord. TrueBlue Inc., Amazon, Starbucks, Thurston EDC and Tacoma Pierce County Chamber are among the participating employers.
