Process plans for Tumwater brewery redevelopment

Tumwater Brewery's new owner is pledging a process toward redevelopment will include much community and municipal study over the past few years. Ronny Vodel, CFO of Assets America, who brokered the purchase by a California-based developer, Chandulal Patel, said the new owner does not have a preconceived notion for what the site might become. Right now, the opportunity is open ended for the 800,000 sq.ft. site comprised of four separate parcels. The former Olympia Beer main building might become a hotel, convention center, multi-family housing, craft brewing & distillery space, or any of a number of possibilities. The Valley parcel might again be used as warehousing and/or a distribution center.
