Torklift International, a local manufacturer of hitches, camper tiedowns and stabilizers, recently completed its move into a 55,000 square-foot Sumner plant at the end of January and celebrated by honoring its founders.

Sumner golf course goes up for sale

The Sumner City Council unanimously approved this week an agreement with Colliers International to market the Sumner Meadows Golf Course for sale. The land that will be offered for sale is approximately 132 usableacres. The land is currently zoned for industrial use. The City will be able to interview potential buyers and is anticipating a buyer selection in mid-April. Any acceptance of any offer will be done by the City Council.
