Univ. Pl. tax preparer sentenced

A former tax preparer who enriched himself by filing false tax returns for low income people was sentenced today in U.S. District Court in Tacoma to 30 months in prison, three years of supervised release and $2.4 million in restitution for a false claims conspiracy.
