State health authorities today issued a temporary cease-and-desist order against Charles H. Pan, a dentist who has been practicing in Kent. His license was suspended in Oct. 2014, but the new claim alleges that he has continued treating patients.

Seven banks and credit unions in the South Sound were hit for almost $1 million in fraudulent withdrawals, and 10 defendants were accused in federal court this week with committing those crimes.
