ABOUT THE PROGRAM - Women of Influence recognizes outstanding female leaders in the South Puget Sound. Honorees are selected for their achievement in community, business, government, military and/or nonprofit sectors. The panel of judges, comprised of previous years' honorees, may also name rising stars and a Military Award honoree, when applicable.
ELIGIBILITY- Nominees/Applicants must work/reside in Pierce, Thurston or South King Counties.

Renée earned this honor not only for her company’s tremendous success, but also as a result of her commitment to her community through civic engagement, through other business concerns, and in promoting the Arts and Higher Education throughout the South Sound. Fairchild Record Search is proud to have been recognized as the 2012 Small Business of the Year by the Thurston County Economic Development Council.
The Washington Center for Women in Business, an SBA-designated program of the Thurston EDC, is an online and in-person network of professional women, providing networking opportunities, training, and counseling to women who are starting or developing new businesses, especially those who are economically or socially disadvantaged. The WCWB provides entrepreneurial and small business counseling to women business owners throughout much of Washington State. This program serves as a regional catalyst for providing in-depth, outcome-oriented business services to women entrepreneurs and established businesses, allowing the organization to fulfill our mission to help new and existing businesses expand and grow, and provide services to this fast-growing and underserved segment of entrepreneurs.
