U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Secretary Shaun Donovan announced a $3 million to the Puyallup Tribe today, part of almost $16.9 million to seven tribal organizations in Washington to improve housing and stimulate community development.
The Squaxin Island Tribe near Shelton also earned a grant of $1,196,160, and Quinault Housing Authority of Taholah will get $2 million.
