Car wash empire expanding

Apr 6, 2017 - 12:59 PM

Lakewood entrepreneur Cory Campbell is adding Tacoma’s Sprague Avenue Car Wash and Hazelwood Road Espresso to his Classy Chassis family of related retail outlets.

As reported by The Suburban Times this morning, John and Diane Simchuk recently decided to sell the car wash operation that they opened in 1990. As friends with the Campbell family, it was an easy connection, given very similar business values in a shared industry.

From his own beginnings as a mobile car servicing operation to the first Classy Chassis Car Wash & Detailing center, Campbell has continued to grow up to now seven full- and self-service car wash locations, plus the coming Sprague Avenue inclusion. The other locations are in Puyallup, Parkland and University Place.

Still to be completed is a system merge for Fleet Card and Gift Card usage. The beverage operation will be transitioning to Campbell’s Classy Coffee name, still serving Dillanos coffee.
