I-5 paving near JBLM means overnight delays for drivers

Aug 15, 2011 - 01:02 PM
A paving project on a busy stretch of Interstate 5 near Joint Base Lewis-McChord will impact drivers overnight this week.
Motorists can expect lane and ramp closures beginning tonight while Washington State Department of Transportation's contractor, Tucci and Sons, repaves a two-mile stretch of I-5 between Berkeley and Gravelly Lake Drive. Drivers should plan for double-lane closures on northbound I-5 overnight tonight and tomorrow beginning at 10 p.m. Crews will be off the roadway by 5 a.m. the following mornings.
