The manager of a municipal water system in Virginia for the past 17 years will be coming to Tacoma by early October. Scott (William) Dewhirst is set to be named superintendent of Tacoma Water, subject to confirmation of his appointment by the TPU board.

The new director of marketing and business development for Tacoma Mall is Rachel Nelson Stewart, a veteran of the Simon Properties mall ownership group. She began at Northgate Mall, then served as an assistant in Tacoma before moving on to Simon’s Premium Outlets in suburban Portland.

Carmen M. Goers has joined Harborstone Credit Union at its Kent Station branch as VP of business sales and services. She has more than 25 years in business banking internationally and locally.
