Olympia contractor adds to next generation

Derek Boysen and Craig Lester have joined Andy Johnson & Co., Inc. as shareholders and officers. Both come from Forma Construction and have over 20 years of construction experience.

Boysen holds the position of senior project manager, bringing a civil engineering degree from Saint Martin’s University and experience focused on education facilities, including K-12 and higher education.

Lester is a senior superintendent and studied construction management at Central Washington University. He, too, has worked as lead on individual education facilities projects as large as $50 million dollars.

Family-led Andy Johnson & Co., Inc., has been in continuous operation as a commercial general contractor since 1924. It performs work for public and private entities in all types of commercial construction, including schools (K-12 and community colleges), financial institutions, hospitals and medical facilities, churches, libraries, State buildings, private office buildings including TI work, and industrial and manufacturing facilities.
