Boeing charity benefits WWEE

A program that is supposed to inspire and guide low-income women to discover paths to economic self-sufficiency recently received a $60,000 grant from The Boeing Company Charitable Trust.

Washington Women's Employment & Education (WWEE), with offices in Tacoma and Kent, received the money Oct. 30 for its flagship effort, called REACH Plus.
This 175-hour, 5-week program teaches the skills and behaviors people need to obtain living-wage jobs or get further education for long-term careers. It is offered 10 times a year in both Tacoma and Kent.

"We appreciate the opportunity to participate in this project and wish everyone involved continued success," said Gina Breukelman, representing the Boeing Company Charitable Trust.
