According to the third quarter report added to SoundTransit's financial documents website today, the transit authority's total revenues as of Sept. 30, 2013 were above budget by $7.6 million, a surplus of about 1 percent.

Federal Way office space filling

Fourth-quarter statistics from Jones Lang LaSalle commercial real estate brokerage show a 9.1 percent net absorption rate through 2013 for the Federal Way and Auburn market. Overall, King County has a net absorption rate that has it fourth best among all office markets in the U.S. tracked by Jones Lang LaSalle.
