New burger restaurant coming to Tacoma

Jan 26, 2018 - 06:28 PM

The Habit Burger Grill continues to expand throughout Washington with the opening of its newest location in the Westgate North Shopping Center at 2601 N Pearl St. in Tacoma on Wednesday, Feb. 14.

The new location is the fifth for Habit in Washington since 2015. Currently, the chain operates more than 205 restaurants across 11 states, as well as three countries overseas. It will have 2,607 square feet, seating 84 guests inside and 14 outside.

To celebrate the opening, The Habit will partner with two local non-profits, USO Northwest and Nourish Pierce County, for a pair of area fundraising events. The charities will receive 100 percent of the proceeds raised at their respective events to put towards their causes.

The events are open to the public and provide a “sneak peek” into what the restaurant will offer guests before The Habit officially opens its doors on Valentine’s Day.
