Dakota Chamberlain has joined the Port of Tacoma as engineering director. He previously was director of seaport management at the Port of Seattle and also has worked for the Federal Aviation Administration. Chamberlain has a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the University of Hawaii and is a registered professional engineer in Colorado and Washington.

Brett Bryant has joined Heritage Bank as market executive for southwest Washington. He has 25 years of banking experience. Bryant also is vice-chair of the PeaceHealth Southwest Medical System Board, a member of the Community Foundation for Southwest Washington Board and served as chair of the New Heights Foundation Board. Sue Martinez has been named as Employee of the Quarter for Olympia Federal Savings. She began her career with the bank in 2004 as a customer service representative in the westside Olympia branch. Martinez also has served in the Lacey branch and was transferred to her current branch, Yelm Highway, in August 2010.

Marie Boisvert has joined Saint Martin's University as director of international programs and development. She previously was director of international programs at Texas Wesleyan University. Boisvert's experience in higher education includes coordinating the Summer Sessions Abroad programs for the University of California, Davis, and serving as a vocational training advisor for the Department of Education and Training in Sydney, Australia.
