New call-in inspection scheduling line available

City of Tacoma permitting customers have an updated request line for scheduling building, plumbing, mechanical and right-of-way inspections. By calling (253) 573-2587, customers can access the system to coordinate and track permit inspections, to schedule inspections, check the date of a scheduled inspection, check the status or results of inspections, cancel inspections and reschedule inspections.
The inspection request line also offers a feature for transferring to a permit services representative for general code inquiries and permit status updates. The new request line replaces an older call-in inspection line for building permits and incorporates more permits, including right-of-way inspections, into its features.
