The public utility district serving the center of Mason County and Shelton received its 38th consecutive clean report from Washington State Auditor reviewers this week.

The audit certifies Mason PUD 3’s financial management, operations and compliance with state laws and regulations.

“(This) report shows that our employees follow the high standards required by the state,” says Annette Creekpaum, PUD 3 manager. “The audit verifies that our financial management and day-to-day operations are of the highest quality.”

PUD 3 has also received 12 consecutive Certificates of Excellence in Financial Reporting from the International Government Finance Officers Association.
