Plaudits to Bates’ business programs

Jun 9, 2017 - 02:43 PM

Four programs at Bates Technical College have received recognition from the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs.

The courses, which include Accounting, Administrative Medical Assistant, Administrative Office Assistant, and Marketing and Business Management, passed a rigorous accreditation process based on the Baldrige Education Criteria for Performance Excellence.

“The ACBSP accreditation reaffirms the college’s reputation within the community and further demonstrates our commitment to students to provide relevant, high-quality programs,” says Bates President Ron Langrell, Ph.D.

“We are proud that the faculty in our Business Administration programs have been recognized for their excellence in teaching and learning,” Dean of Instruction Andrea Samuels adds. “Accreditation attests to Bates’ high standards in providing technical education, as well as our strong relationships with employers, and the success of our alumni in their careers.”
