Winkle, Stevens top Financial Execs
Jim Winkle, CFO of Lacey’s Harbor Wholesale Foods, was named large company South Sound Financial Executive of the Year at a luncheon in Tacoma today. His CEO nominator credited him for contributing to a 40 percent revenue growth over three years. Judges in the program were impressed, too, with Winkle’s community involvement as an elected school board member and youth sports coach.
From among finalists at a mid-sized business, Jutta Stevens, CFO of Golden Services, received the award from Nigel English, senior VP and regional commercial lending manager at Heritage Bank, sponsor of this year’s program produced by Business Examiner Media.
The top Financial Exec from local non-profits was Brian Sanda, whose 37 years at Community Action Council for Lewis, Mason and Thurston Counties has him serving as chief financial officer.
And Mark Horaski, CFO of Valley Regional Fire Authority, received the award for top financial executive in a government role.
Additional details on all nine finalists for this year’s recognition program are at this link.
