From SSBiz: Waiting on 'Affordable Care'

Mar 9, 2017 - 05:06 PM

As Republicans in Congress this week race to push through their ‘Repeal & Replace’ plans for Obamacare, an article from the March issue of South Sound BIZ magazine features local health care leaders, employers and benefits advisers with their take on the subject.

Christina Cross, principal and co-founder of Rapport Benefits Group in Tacoma, says completely repealing the entire Affordable Care Act would be “foolhardy.”

“The focus needs to be on the cost of health care, not only the cost of insurance,” Cross told contributing writer Andrew Fickes in the article. “Our free market has allowed providers and drug companies to run amuck with the cost of care.”

Read more about it in this article (temporarily free) from March edition of South Sound BIZ as a sample of the types of stories covered in the monthly magazine produced by Business Examiner Media.
