Gift of cash, not a tub, to JBLM residence

May 8, 2017 - 04:20 PM

Fisher House, a temporary home-like residence for families of active and veteran service members who are receiving extended medical care at Madigan Army Medical Center, received $22,250 over the weekend from Olympic Hot Tub.

Company owner Don Riling says, “Olympic Hot Tub’s focus is on wellness, so it's an honor to contribute to an organization that focuses holistically on the families of military American Heroes.”

The funds were raised in a special April promotion by the region’s leader in retail sales of saunas and hot tubs, where the target was $15,000, but the actual exceeded that by almost 50 percent.

It was presented to a JBLM delegation as part of the store’s grand opening for a new outlet on Seattle’s Lake Union. Olympic also has South Sound locations in Fife and Lacey.
