Tacoma picks four finalists for city manager position

May 3, 2017 - 03:14 PM

Tacoma’s City Council has selected four finalists to succeed T.C. Broadnax as city manager.

The finalists are Kristoff Bauer, deputy city manager for Fayetteville, N.C.; Walter Bobkiewicz III, city manager for Evanston, Ill.; Robert Cowell, Jr., deputy city manager, assistant city manager and interim city manager for Amarillo, Texas; and Belinda Graham, special project temporary employee assisting the city manager of Port Townsend.

The finalists will be interviewed by the City Council and the City’s Executive Leadership Team on May 11 and 12.

Broadnax left the position in February 2017 after being named city manager in Dallas. The City Council appointed City Attorney Elizabeth Pauli to serve as interim city manager until someone was appointed to man the post on a permanent basis.
