Faster service for AT&T customers

AT&T has turned on its 4G LTE network in the South Sound, bringing customers the latest generation of wireless network technology.

The company’s coverage is now available in Tacoma, Federal Way, Auburn, Lakewood, Puyallup and several other nearby cities.

In the greater Seattle area, customers in Bellevue, Bothell, Edmonds, Kirkland, Lynwood,Redmond, Renton, Seattle, Tukwila and Woodinville are expecting improved mobile Internet coverage and even faster speeds with the upgrade of multiple local cell sites to next generation service.

"We continue to see demand for mobile Internet skyrocket, and our 4G LTE network in the Puget Sound area responds to what customers want from their mobile experience — more, faster, on the best devices," said Mike Maxwell, AT&T's VP/general manager.
