California IT firm adds facility in Auburn

Nov 7, 2017 - 02:37 PM

Ingram Micro ITAD has announced the opening of a new satellite facility in Auburn.

The company, based in Irvine, Calif., and formerly known as CloudBlue, specializes in disposing of IT assets, e-waste recycling services and onsite data clearing, including the erasure of hard drives and safe destruction of mobile drives.

“Ingram Micro ITAD has crafted our expansion plans to elevate the level of service and expand our capabilities for both existing and new clients around the country,” said Todd Zegers, Ingram Micro executive director of global IT asset disposition.

“The addition of the Washington facility – the first of our current expansion plans – allows us to provide efficient, timely, and cost-effective services to a broad range of companies throughout the Pacific Northwest, including the greater Portland, Seattle and Spokane areas. By stationing mobile shredders south of the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, we are able to significantly shorten lead times and improve efficiency for onsite services and traditional ITAD pickups.”

The new Ingram Micro ITAD facility is open and in full operation, bringing the number of the company’s stateside facilities to 10, with several more globally.
