Raymond Handling's Pink Pallet Jack Project raises $17K
Raymond Handling Concepts Corporation, a materials handling equipment supplier in Auburn, has raised over $17,000 for breast cancer research and awareness with its fourth annual Pink Pallet Jack Project held in late October.
The winning bid in the event’s online auction was $6,150 by John Souza of J & K Trucking — the fourth year Souza’s company has placed the winning bid. In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, all proceeds raised from this year’s auction were shared between the Tina Fund in Greene, N.Y., and Northwest Hope and Healing.
“Overall, Raymond Handling Concepts Corporation raised $17,328 to benefit two commendable breast cancer charities this year,” said Steve Raymond, president of Raymond Handling. “We are thrilled to see our Pink Pallet Jack Project’s continued success in uniting our network and communities together in the support of finding a cure. Since 2014, we have raised more than $137,000 for charity, a large portion of this amount coming from the Pink Pallet Jack Project.”
With the second highest bid during the auction, RHCC sold an additional Pink Pallet Jack to Jere VanPuffelen with Prism Logistics.
