Gig Harbor-based builder The Rush Companies today announced Lee Kilcup as the new leader at Rush Commercial Construction. He formerly has been president and CEO of GLY Construction. Paul Garlock is the new operations manager for this division.

Lisa Reid has been hired by SCJ Alliance to lead and manage the firm’s expansion into the Seattle area. She recently led development of a sustainability rating tool for Federal Highway Administration called INVEST that is being used nationally

Two attorneys at Phillips Burgess in Olympia and Tacoma have been recognized in their specialties. Heather Burgess, co-founder and managing partner of the firm, has been selected again for inclusion in the 2017 edition of The Best Lawyers in America® in the fields of environmental law and environmental litigation. Leslie Clark, lead attorney in the firm’s Tacoma office, has been named to the 2017 Super Lawyers list, marking the tenth consecutive year.

Lisa Schwartz has been appointed Destination Development manager at Seattle Southside Regional Tourism Authority in its SeaTac office. She comes from a position at Miles Partnerships, a destination marketing consultancy.

Leadership Thurston County is now being guided by Alisha Blain, formerly the event coordinator at Thurston County Chamber. She succeeds Judy Reynolds, who left LTC to start her own business.

Sharlene Singleton has joined theclient assisting marketing team for South Sound BIZ magazine and other Business Examiner Media programs. She has extensive prior newspaper advertising sales experience.
