Forza Coffee pays tribute to fallen officers

Forza Coffee Co. was impacted at both a corporate and local level when a man entered its store near McChord AFB in Parkland yesterday morning and killed four Lakewood police officers.

"As a retired police officer, this senseless shooting hits extremely close to home to me," said Brad Carpenter, CEO of Forza Coffee. "These officers put their lives on the line every day to keep us safe, and this crime cuts deep into the heart of the entire Forza family."
In reaction to these murders the company took action to establish a donation collection area at each coffee house locations in the South Sound.

"It is Forza's goal to help the families of those who lost their lives during this difficult holiday season and into the new year as they struggle to reconstruct their lives," said Rich Jennings, another company owner.

People can also donate by going on Forza's Web site.
