Franciscan renews agreement with UnitedHealthcare

Franciscan Health System has renewed its agreement with UnitedHealthcare, which now includes St. Anthony Hospital in Gig Harbor.
 
The agreement provides UnitedHealthcare commercial and Medicare health plan participants continued in-network access to Franciscan Health System's facilities.
St. Anthony Hospital is the newest hospital in Washington and celebrated its first year of service on March 17. In addition to St. Anthony Hospital, Franciscan Health System includes St. Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma; St. Francis Hospital in Federal Way; St. Clare Hospital in Lakewood; Enumclaw Regional Hospital; and Franciscan Medical Group clinics in Pierce, south King and south Kitsap counties.

Franciscan Health System is affiliated with Denver-based Catholic Health Initiatives, one of the largest nonprofit health systems in the nation.
