The National Retail Federation released its March numbers today – retail industry sales, excluding automobiles, gas stations and restaurants, dipped 0.9 percent compared to last March and were down 0.3 percent from February's activity. Including car sales, gas and dining out, sales increased rose slightly from February and compared to last year.
