Mar. 19, 2010 at 10:35am KBTC and Business Examiner form program partnershipThe Business Examiner's "South Sound Business Report" will debut on KBTC Public Television at 7:30 p.m. April 20. The program, which will air every two weeks, focuses on business in the South Sound. It has been seen in the Tacoma/Seattle region since January 2004. "South Sound Business Report" features in-studio interviews with local industry leaders, local business news headlines and stories told in a news magazine format. "The Business Examiner is an important source of local and regional business news," said David Hinman, KBTC executive director and general manager. "We are excited that they are adding their expertise to the local programming line-up on KBTC." The new format will include co-hosts Jeff Rounce and Emily West, and BE editor Mike Boyd, who will provide insight and perspective about South Sound business news and events. The series is produced by the Business Examiner in cooperation with KBTC at the station's television studio facilities in Tacoma. Plenty more in the Archives The comments function of the Business Examiner community is meant to encourage conversations and spark ideas about business issues in the South Sound. The feature is free and open to members of the public who register basic log in information. Comments should be concise, on topic and avoid attacks, profanity or abusive language or content. Comments that are deemed to violate this policy will be removed.
