Lacey center opens new office options

Co-working is an emerging trend for today's busy professionals. The co-working concept originated on the East coast and has since spread to all the major metropolitan areas of the nation. Seattle boasts five co-working areas and Tacoma has one, Suite 133. Now Lacey has one, too.

Typically, work-at-home professionals, independent contractors or frequent travelers end up working in an isolated way. Co-working is ideal for these types of people who work independently, but thrive on the synergy that can happen when working with other talented people in the same space. Some co-working spaces were developed by nomadic internet entrepreneurs seeking an alternative to working in coffee shops and/or the isolation of home offices.

The Lacey Business Center, located at 975 Carpenter Road N.E., provides premier office space for these business professionals to gather. The LBC provides 16 offices, 18 cubicles and a large common area with comfortable lounge areas where tenants can relax and work via Wi-Fi. Other amenities include a large conference room that seats ten, a board room that seats 14 and two small meeting rooms that seat eight. A virtual office service is also available.

"The LBC is designed to provide all the benefits one would expect in a professional work environment at a fraction of the cost." said Kelly Floyd, Lacey Business Center manager. "The space is ideally suited for entrepreneurs whose business plans call for growth and expansion, but are uncertain about the economy."

Excellent idea. I stopped in to see the new center ... WOW!

Great place to get work done, network, and set up a new or small business.
