Jul. 28, 2010 at 1:49pm Northwest Commercial Bank swings back to blackNorthwest Commercial Bank reported a $154,000 net profit for the quarter ended June 30, compared with a net loss of $160,000 for the same period during 2009. Net interest income for the Lakewood-based bank jumped from $1.34 million for the second quarter of 2009 to $1.71 million for the corresponding quarter this year. Total assets increased to $73.59 million as of June 30, compared to $71.7 million on March 31. Deposits also went up, from $60.1 million to $62 million. Northwest Commercial Bank serves small businesses and individuals in Pierce and south King counties and surrounding areas.
