He has more than 25 years of health car management experience, including serving as vice president and global leader of the pharmaceutical and health care practice at A. T. Kearney, president of Essilor Laboratories of America and co-leader of the U.S. health care practice at McKinsey & Co. Paddison has an undergraduate degree from Queen's University, Kingston, Ontario, and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Misao Thompson of Strader Hallett & Co. P.S. Certified Public Accountants has earned her CPA certification and licensing. She primarily works with small businesses in helping them with their computerized accounting systems, including Quick Books, income taxes and payroll tax preparation. LaserMotive of Kent has named company co-founder Tom Nugent as president and technology industry veteran David Bashford as vice president of operations. Nugent has a wide variety of technical and management experience for space and technology companies, including serving as project team leader for LaserMotive's winning entry in the Space Elevator Games. Prior to co-founding LaserMotive, he served as research director for LiftPort Group. Nugent has a bachelor's degree in physics from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a master's degree in materials science and engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Bashford has more than 30 years of experience in applied technologies development, electro-mechanical design and prototyping in the innovation business, and served as climber development leader for LaserMotive's winning entry in the Space Elevator Games. Prior to joining LaserMotive, he served as technical associate in research and development at Philips Oral Healthcare/Sonicare. Janet Long has joined Sen. Don Benton's U.S. Senate campaign as fundraising director. She has experience as a high level executive recruiter.
