DeLisa Smith has joined Capital Medical Center as director of emergency services. She previously was emergency room director at Twin Cities Community Hospital in Pismo Beach, Calif. Smith received a bachelor's degree in nursing from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix. Maria Rowena Ramirez M.D. has joined the staff at Oakland Bay Pediatrics and the medical staff at Mason General Hospital. She completed her pediatric residency at Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Ohio, and received her medical degree from Medical School University of San Tomas, Philippines. She is board eligible in pediatric medicine. Mark Bergquist has been promoted to associate at McGranahan Architects. He has worked for the firm for 25 years and focuses on project management, technical development of documents and construction administration. His notable projects include Arlington High School for Arlington School District and the South Campus Academic Building at Bates Technical College.
