He previously was head superintendent at The Golf Club at Hawks Prairie in Lacey. Wayne Horvitz will join the University of Puget Sound School of Music this fall as director of the jazz band and as an affiliate faculty member. He is a composer, pianist and keyboardist, and has performed or recorded with musicians including Billy Bang, Marty Ehrlich, Bill Frisell, Carla Bley, Robin Holcomb, Butch Morris, Bobby Previte, Michael Shrieve, Eddie Palmieri, John Zorn, Elliott Sharp, the World Saxophone Quartet, Human Feel and The Living Daylights. Andy Norberg CPA, has joined the Tumwater CPA firm of Armour Vickerman PLLC as a tax manager. She has been in public accounting for 24 years and previously worked with Knight Vale & Gregory, which later became RSM McGladrey. Ghasem Nahvipour has been named chief executive officer of Comprehensive Mental Health of Tacoma-Pierce County. He has been CEO of the center for Life Resources in Brentwood, Texas, during the last 13 years.
