Promotions, hires and recognitions in South Sound

Zella Kahn-Jetter Ph.D.has been named dean of the School of Engineering at St. Martin's University. She has more than 20 years of experience in Catholic higher education and currently serves as the chair of the Mechanical Engineering Department at Manhattan College, a private Catholic college in New York. Kahn-Jetter will assume her deanship in January.

Colleen H. Gillespie has been named chief advisory officer of Olympia-based Cambridge Wealth Management. She has a bachelor's degree in social work from Eastern Washington University and a dual master's degree in public administration/health administration from Portland State University.
Deke Jones has joined the cities of Federal Way and Auburn as resource conservation manager. He has more than a decade of experience in environmental education, facilities management and commercial real estate. Funding for the shared position is coming from the Washington State Department of Commerce and Puget Sound Energy, along with program support from Washington State University's Energy Program.

Sandra Forero Bush has joined World Trade Center Tacoma as deputy director. She has more than 15 years of experience in operational, business administration and project management. Bush has a bachelor's degree in international relations and Portuguese and Brazilian studies from Brown University and a master's degree in Pacific international affairs with a concentration in international management from the University of California-San Diego. She previously worked for Russell Investments.
