Feb. 5, 2008 at 2:44pm Port work to streamline flow of cargoPort of Tacoma Commissioners are set to award a $800,000 contract this week for work on Lincoln Avenue. The project, which is set for Thursday's agenda, marks the third phase of construction along the roadway along Tacoma's Tideflats. The grade separation on the street is one of 10 priority FAST Corridor Phase II projects to improve freight mobility once ships offload their cargo and the containers board trucks or trains to their final destinations.
