The Centralia-Chehalis Chamber of Commerce's AM Mixxer will be held at 7:30 a.m. Sept. 23 at Washington State Employees Credit Union, at 2015 Kresky, Ave. in Chehalis. This ambassador hosted event features a business to the membership and allows for extensive networking opportunities for business people. 

The Tacoma-Pierce County Chamber's Good Morning! Power Networking Breakfast  will be held at 7:30 a.m. Sept. 23 at La Quinta Inn & Suites Conference Center. People can hear a presentation by Marya Gingrey, of Edge LearningInstitute, on "How to Create a Creative, Cooperative Team Culture." Cost is $15 prepaid or $25 at the door.

Lacey Chamber of Commerce's 5:01 Surge! after hours event will be held at at 5:01 p.m. on Sept. 25 at Apex Karting,7960 Center St. SW, Tumwater. Pre-register at www.apexkarting.com.

The Faces of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, a traveling photo exhibit that is part of the first national campaign about chronic fatigue syndrome, features portraits and stories of CFS patients, family members and health care professionals. The free show is currently on display at the Tacoma Mall, 4502 S. Steele St.

The World Trade Center Tacoma continues its breakfast series with an engaging discussion about foreign direct investments on Sept. 26, at 8 a.m. at the Law Offices of Gordon Thomas Honeywell, 1201 Pacific Ave. The keynote speaker is Henry Liebman, the largest private landowner in Seattle's SoDo District, who recently purchased the Foremost Dairy building in Tacoma to attract foreign investment in the region. His company, American Life Inc., brought hundreds of investors from more than thirty counties. Mr. Liebman will discuss the opportunities available for foreigners to invest locally in Tacoma area.
