State takes action on health workers

The Washington State Department of Health has revoked or suspended the licenses, certifications, or registrations of multiple health care providers within the state. The department has also immediately suspended the credentials of providers who have been prohibited from practicing in other states.
In Lewis County, the credentials of Nursing Assistant Joshua D. Neri were revoked. He reportedly exposed a developmentally disabled patient to alcohol and involved him in a flight from police.

In Pierce County, the Medical Commission withdrew the statement of charges against Alfred H. L. Chan. The Nursing Commission indefinitely suspended the credential of Deanna L. Fox. Fox failed to comply with previous terms set against her credential. The Dental Commission withdrew charges against Mostafa Norooz. The department also revoked the credentials of Dawn C. Mooers, a pharmacy technician who reportedly took more than $40,000 worth of controlled substances from her place of employment.
