Jul. 29, 2009 at 1:20pm All Weyerhaeuser lands closedDue to the extreme high fire danger brought on by mid-summer, 100 degree weather, Weyerhaeuser Company is closing all tree farms to public access in the Pacific Northwest. In Washington, tree farms in the Vail, Aberdeen, Raymond and St. Helens operating areas will be indefinitely closed to public recreational access. Visitors planning a trip to Weyerhaeuser forestlands in Washington or Oregon are reminded to call the company's statewide, toll-free telephone number (866-636-6531) before heading out to the woods.
