Aug. 29, 2008 at 10:16am Wireless Internet ends at rest areasWireless Internet access will no longer be available at Washington's highway safety rest areas due to a lack of consistent users. In 2006, more than two dozen of the state's rest areas became wi-fi hotspots, enabling travelers to look up current road conditions, check e-mail and gather other travel information on their wireless devices. The comments function of the Business Examiner community is meant to encourage conversations and spark ideas about business issues in the South Sound. The feature is free and open to members of the public who register basic log in information. Comments should be concise, on topic and avoid attacks, profanity or abusive language or content.
