Yelm Family Medicine, Providence Health and Services and RDS, LLC of Olympia, announced plans for the anticipated construction of a new 36,000-square-foot medical office building and surrounding medical park in Yelm.
The building will allow Yelm Family Medicine to expand and Providence to bring more medical services to the community.
The practice and St. Peter Hospital plan to coordinate the addition of after-hours urgent care in the building. The Providence hospital also plans to add offices for physician specialists. Other services including clinical lab, advanced diagnostic imaging, pharmacy and physical therapy will also be available on site.
"This partnership will bring new medical services closer to home for our patients, and it will allow our clinic to continue serving the needs of our growing community." said Dr. Kirk Dawson, speaking for Yelm Family Medicine. "Having an array of services in one location will be a major benefit for patients and physicians, with less time spent traveling out of town for diagnostics and specialty services."
The new facilities will be developed by RDS, LLC whose principals are Scott and Susan Ritter.
