I joined the Business Examiner team in 2007.  As Circulation Director / Marketing Research I am responsible for growing the BE's readership.
I am also responsible managing and building the data for the Featured List and annual Book of Lists.  I bring a passion for working with people and a love for marketing, advertising, connecting with people, data management and direct mail.

I worked in the direct mail industry for more than 12 years. I also have over 25 years of database management experience. I am  well versed in an abundance of topics including, direct mail, dimensional mail, email marketing, copy writing, and direct mail-piece formats. I have presented at numerous regional business seminars for several years. Often times, my speeches and educational seminars are described as "edu-ta-tional" or educating while entertaining.

A prominent professional in the South Sound, I am a member of the national and local Direct Marketing Association, American Marketing Association, Tacoma Executives Association, BEGee's Toastmasters, and the Tacoma Pierce County Chamber.  I have served on the boards of Tacoma Executives Association, South Puget Sound Postal Customer Council, Tacoma Chamber of Commerce Small Business Council, Thurston Chamber of Commerce ShowCase committee and other regional committees and conferences.

In my spare time, I enjoy many hobbies including, knitting for charity causes, creating Lego masterpieces and cities, yeard work / landscaping, listening to 1920's jazz and restoring my 1905 Victorian home to it's original glory.
